Sanddollars at Casuarina Point - At low tide walk the large sand bank just off shore and south of our homes. You can see it from the decks. You will have to wade a few feet to get to the sand bank, the sea floor is lovely white sand. There you will find beautiful sand dollars and other small shells.
Sea Shells at Little Bay - You can see this private, secluded beach from the deck of both homes. It is just a quick boat ride from the houses. Make sure and take your snorkel gear as you can sometimes find seashells in the sand near the shore and just off the shoreline.
Sea Glass and Sea Shells from Crossing Rocks - Located on a beautiful beach just south of Mango Beach House and Key Lime Beach House. Take a baggie with you as there are plenty of small shells and sea glass. It is a nice place to have a picnic, so pack a cooler and go at low tide.
Sea Shells at Sandy Point - Located at the Southern tip of Abaco and approximately a 40 minute drive. The shelling beach is located on your left, at the curve, before entering Sandy Point. There are several beach cabanas there. Park and walk north along the shore line and in ankle deep water to find shells. It is a nice drive, arrange your trip so that you can have lunch at Nancy's or Pete and Gays. You will need to call to be sure they will be open. I suggest calling the day before you plan on going. Low tide is best for shelling.
